Thank you for choosing Online Knowledge Base System (OKBSYS): Lite Edition 1.0. OKBSYS Lite is an easy to use web-based knowledge base application. If this is the first time you have used this software you may want to make your self familiar with the system by reading the rest of the online help.

2. Configure
To fully configure OKBSYS you need to edit the following files.

• common/config.asp - Allows you to set global settings

3. Login
Allows the user to login to restricted areas in the system.

How do I login?
Enter the system password and click on .

4. Search
Allows users to search for articles based on a keyword(s).

How do I perform a search?

1. Type a keyword or keywords in the text box provided.

2. Select a category to search within.

4. Your results will be displayed (if your search returns no results try again).

5. Submit New
Allows users to submit knowledge base articles.

• Category
  Select the category you would like to add the article too.

• Level
  Select the security level.

• Title
  Enter the title of your knowledge base article

• Keywords
  Enter the keyword(s) seperated by a space [ ].

• Solution
  Enter the solution. HTML is allowed.

6. Browse
Allows users to browse through the articles. You may browse all categories or select a specific category to view.

7. View/Edit/Print
Allows users to view, edit, or print the knowledge base articles.

8. Manage
Allows users to manage knowledge base categories.

9. Common Errors
